Emirates is set to launch a newly enhanced First Class lounge at Dubai International Airport (DXB) very soon.
Emirates has revealed a range of enhancements to its First Class offering, featuring unlimited caviar, the addition of zero-gravity seats on selected aircraft, and improved in-flight and airport services.
As the global leader in international First Class travel, Emirates operates 26,800 First Class seats weekly. The airline also boasts the industry’s largest collection of private First Class suites for its passengers.
Cheese and delicacies like caviar
First Class passengers can now indulge in unlimited caviar, elegantly presented in newly designed bowls crafted by renowned luxury cutlery designer Robert Welch. The classic Emirates cheeseboard has also been revamped, with a new keepsake menu showcasing the airline’s extensive selection of beverages and gourmet meals.
The upgraded cheeseboard will be served on a rustic slate, accompanied by bowls, a wooden honey dipper, and a variety of artisan cheeses and chutneys. Emirates’ First Class cabin crew will ensure a refined experience with gloved service.
On the ground, Emirates is enhancing the First Class experience at Dubai International Airport (DXB), with ongoing upgrades to the First Class Check-In area in Terminal 3. This refurbishment aims to create a more exclusive and personalized check-in experience, providing passengers with dedicated services in a luxurious setting. A newly designed lounge will be unveiled in the coming weeks for added comfort and relaxation.
Emirates First Class travelers enjoy complimentary access to 43 premium lounges worldwide, along with a complimentary chauffeur service for smooth and seamless transfers to and from the airport at many destinations.
Emirates refers to its First Class cabins as a “hotel room in the sky,” emphasizing the spacious and private suites it offers high above the clouds. Some of these suites are equipped with electronic privacy doors, while others feature personal temperature controls and adjustable mood lighting for a more customized experience.
On the Emirates Airbus A380, 14 flat-bed Private Suites are available in a 1-2-1 layout on the upper deck. Each suite includes a seat that transforms into a fully flat bed, with an automatic door ensuring complete privacy for passengers.
Inside the suite, there is plenty of room for working, reading, or dining, with a dedicated work desk and a pull-out dining table. On the Emirates Boeing B777, the First Class Game Changer Suite features six opulent private suites, each equipped with floor-to-ceiling doors and arranged in a 1-1-1 layout.
These suites include seats that can be adjusted into a “zero gravity” position, providing a restful and comfortable sleep experience.
Video conferencing
Onboard the Game Changer aircraft, passengers have access to a video call feature that allows them to place ‘room service’ orders directly from their suite. The suites in the middle row are equipped with virtual windows, while those in window seats are provided with custom binoculars to enhance the in-flight view, as explained by the airline.
Baggage Allowances
Emirates First Class passengers enjoy a generous 50kg baggage allowance. The cabins are designed to provide ample storage for hand luggage, featuring a full-length wardrobe, overhead compartments, dedicated baggage storage, and extra space for bags or shoes.
Luxurious Products
To transform seats into relaxing, lie-flat beds, Emirates passengers on the Game Changer aircraft will enjoy plush mattresses, pillows, cotton-lined duvets, and a luxurious faux sheepskin blanket for added comfort.
In addition, passengers will be provided with Hydra Active moisturizing pyjamas, designed to enhance in-flight comfort. The innovative microcapsule technology in the fabric releases Vitamin C and olive oil, naturally hydrating the skin during the flight. The pyjamas come with matching slippers and an eye mask for a complete, restful experience.
Amenity Kits
First Class passengers are treated to an exclusive selection of skin and body care products, including Byredo skincare and Bulgari perfumes and lotions. Each suite features a Byredo skincare collection, specially curated for Emirates by the renowned Swedish luxury brand.
The Emirates First Class collection offers a range of luxurious amenities, including a refreshing towelette for facial cleansing, facial toner, eye cream, sleep oil, and a calming pillow mist. Additionally, each suite is equipped with built-in illuminated vanity mirrors for added convenience and comfort.
Emirates offers exclusive designer amenity kits for long-haul First Class passengers on select routes, created in collaboration with the luxury Italian brand Bulgari. These kits include essential items such as a sustainable hairbrush, hair tie, mirror, toothbrush, shaving kit, and dental kit. Also included are Bulgari’s signature Le Gemme fragrances and lotions. The latest scents available onboard include Le Gemme Orom for women, a rich blend of wood and amber, and Le Gemme Tygar for men, offering a bold mix of woody and citrusy notes. The Bulgari bags are available in four sophisticated leather designs, with a deep chocolate color for men and a Champagne hue for women.
Fine Dining on Demand
In First Class, passengers have the flexibility to dine whenever they choose, with an on-demand menu available throughout the flight. Whether on long-haul routes or short trips, guests can enjoy à la carte multi-course meals made from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
For those with specific dietary preferences, gourmet vegan dishes are offered on select routes. Additionally, a Movie Snacks Menu provides an assortment of indulgent treats, including Wagyu sliders, lobster rolls, popcorn, and edamame.
In First Class, passengers can indulge in a variety of luxury chocolates, pralines, dates, and other sweets, with the option to take their favorites home in a mini box. Each suite is also stocked with premium sweet and savory snacks, accompanied by still and sparkling water for a refreshing treat.
In-Flight Entertainment
First Class passengers can enjoy an exceptional viewing experience with a 32-inch Full HD LCD screen, designed for wide viewing angles and enhanced by a touchscreen and LED backlighting. This screen is seamlessly integrated with Emirates’ renowned ICE inflight entertainment system.
To complement the visual experience, passengers can indulge in superior sound quality with Bowers & Wilkins E1 headphones. Exclusively created for Emirates, these noise-canceling headphones offer crystal-clear audio. Crafted from lightweight materials, including luxurious sheepskin leather, they ensure a comfortable fit for an immersive experience.
Shower Spas
Onboard the Emirates A380, First Class passengers can enjoy the ultimate luxury with exclusive access to two Shower Spas, marking a first for any airline. These indulgent spaces are equipped with water temperature control, a vanity unit, a wash basin, a changing area, a toilet, a hairdryer, a full-length mirror, heated floors, leather seating, and exotic flowers to create a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Sustainable shower products from the luxury Irish organic brand Voya, including options from the Revitalise and Tranquillity ranges, are also provided.
In addition, First and Business Class passengers can access the exclusive Onboard Lounge, located at the rear of the A380’s upper deck, for a premium social space during the flight.
